What a magical place! An icon for countless years moves to even a greater location. Setting outside alfresco is the absolute best! The bar is superb. I have been there 2 out of the last 3 days so feel I have some room to boast. The cocktails are the size of two and the least expensive in town. The margaritas are the best I have had. Give it a try for yourself or special occasion as you cannot go wrong.

I've been told that Hudson House has the best hamburger in town (after I had lunch there this time). I saw one be delivered to another table and it looked great. I ordered the Greek salad, because I remembered be being very good during my first visit. This time, I commented to my friend with me, "This is the best salad I think I've ever eaten." It was picture perfect in presentation and all components with grilled chicken were incredibly fresh. The noise level is a bit much for me, but another person might think of it as energetic. We were seated at a high top next to the bar in the back away from being surrounded by the crowd, but it was still pretty loud. That said, I will definitely go back again because the food is so good. Note too, that the restaurant was so busy, their parking lot was filled and I had to park a block and a half away on the street that allowed public parking. Near the restaurant street parking is by permit only. Just FYI. Not a bad walk, just saying!

Food was amazing. I had the salmon special and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had beef fajitas (he ordered the rare) also cooked perfectly. Drinks were great and our server was wonderful. Highly recommend. It’s loud but our party of four was able to hold a conversation and the noise was not annoying.
