Restaurants near Laurel Park Plaza Shopping Center

My husband and I celebrated our 37th anniversary at Printworks last night. We both had the duck, which was excellent. Our salads (beet salad and apple fennel salad) were wonderful, too. Our server, Hailey, was delightful. We toasted to our 37 years after she served our wine. When it came time to order dessert, instead of giving us the dessert menu, Hailey placed a dessert plate in front of each of us and then brought a beautiful plate with coffee crème brûlée on which she wrote Happy Anniversary in chocolate. We had not told the restaurant the occasion for our visit, but Hailey on her own made it very special!

I’ve had eaten here before but this time I was there for Breakfast with a 9:30 am reservation with two other people. I think we got the last of the warmed over potatoes/hash browns with our breakfast meal. None of us ate the potatoes as they were over cooked and hard. We told out waiter, and the only thing he said, was “I’m sorry about that’. He did nothing to make it right.

Service and food were excellent as it normally is.

We shared a bottle of wine in the tasting room before heading to the restaurant for dinner. The staff was so friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was a wonderful birthday dinner!
