Restaurants near Lake Seminole Park

We dined at Doc Ford’s for my birthday, a seafood spot that came highly recommended, and overall, it was a positive experience. The service was exceptional— Jenny was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was flavorful and well-prepared. However, we did encounter a couple of disappointments. The restaurant had run out of some, including a new menu item (the banana leaf grouper) we were excited to try. While this was a letdown, the staff handled it gracefully and offered great suggestions for alternatives. Despite these hiccups, the quality of the meal and the service left a good impression. I’m looking forward to returning and trying the items we missed.

We were not happy with the attitude our server had. She seemed like other things were more important, like checking her watch and getting people out the door. What would’ve been a five star across-the-board brought you down to a four star because of her. The entertainment was great

Meal was fantastic. Our server was ok, very slow, rude, snapped at customers because she was so busy, making sure they all knew due to restaurant closing, she was without a job, which took away the pleasure of the meal. I got the special, prime rib, which was excellent. We did have to remind our server we had not gotten our salads yet, when she brought main entrees out, Have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, never had a bad meal here, and am sorry it's closing due to owner's retirement. It was a nice touch that he stopped at every table, thanking people for coming out and dining here.
