Da Emma is a hidden Italian gem located right in downtown Montreal. Since the restaurant itself is located below street level, many people pass by this little trattoria every day without realizing it. The only sign for it is painted on a nearby brick wall in black and white and consists entirely of a downward pointing arrow and the word "Emma". It is because it is a little hard to find that diners feel like they are in on a secret not everyone knows about.Inside, Da Emma goes with a sleek and modern style complete with dark wood tones and white tablecloths. I honestly LOVED the aesthetic, only thing that threw me off was the fact that we were kinda “ rushed” because they had a group rsv at 9pm so they kept coming to us to order / bring the next thing / clean up … it was overwhelming for a while , we did offer to change seats so it’s less rushing but the server said it’s not an issue bref , they weree all nice and always there if we needed anything so overall a 8/10 ! Definitely would recommend to go like girls night out ! Everyone was so pretty and nice !
