- PPatriciaSacramento / Sacramento Valley •2 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 6, 20251st visit. Great menu, just beed a chef that knows how to cook southern food. It was horrible. I tried two items, the first was shrimp appetizer. It was just overly spicy, no flavor, just hot. Returned it and ordered catfish suggest. They were soggy, I ate on those b/c I was hungry. The bartender still charged me 1/2 price for the horrible shrimp I returned. Bartender could not make an old-fashioned cocktail, but said he could. Nice guy, but stick to beer or wine, something that has 2 items only. I was there for the music. I'll be back, I'll eat dinner b4 I come next time. Loved the place, very old school blues vibe. Meet new people there, but if they are missing the mark on the food. I'm in the food industry, and I see huge potential if they had a chef that specialized in Southern foods. Biscuits were bland. I was told the Latina chef just follows a menu. That is not cool..More infoBiscuits and BluesPrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown / Union Square•4.6
