Restaurants near Kaneohe District Park

I enjoyed my experience here the only reason for the missing stars was due to initial confusion that I noticed with the staff. Upon arrival our table wasn’t ready due to a party ahead of us no big deal, however when I ordered my food one of my entrees was not put in and was forgotten about. They fixed the issue quickly which I appreciated. Overall good experience.

Kalapawai Cafe is always consistently very good. All the pupus, salads, dinner, and desserts are wonderful and so yummy. And we love eating outside on the lanai.

The fish tacos are excellent as is the olive oil pound cake. The tres leches cornbread was hard and difficult to eat, but it was much better the next day warmed up in the microwave at home. I did not like the lobster corndogs, which were downright tough. Several items on the luncheon menu were unavailable on Wed, June 5 (chicken flatbread, jumbo prawn cocktail, olive tapenade). There needs to be a major expansion of choices here. I didn't care for the touch of coconut in the ceviche, but the fish and tortilla chips were very good. When the place is full, the noise level is deafening.

Go on a Saturday night to experience the live music! The dude is awesome, and plays a wide variety. The food is also good.
