- BBrandonAustin •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoService was impeccable. Food was exceptional. I had the Lobster scampi linguini. The only pasta dish they serve and they make fresh pasta, half of it with squid ink. My girlfriend’s ribeye was better than Dean’s Italian steakhouse just around the corner, and found out that it’s actually grass fed, even though they don’t advertise that it is. The entire meal was cheaper than other steakhouses we’ve been to, and was far superior. This is our new favorite date night place.More infoTruluck's - Ocean's Finest Seafood & Crab - Austin DowntownPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown•4.8
- MMatthewAustin •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner and it could not have been a better choice. The setting was perfect, classy, intimate yet still felt like the restaurant experience. The food was amazing! They made sure to accommodate my food allergy and recommend me with items that would satiate that requirement. I ended up going with the chipotle salmon which was fabulous. The server was very attentive and polite! Over all a wonderful dinner experience!More infoCornerPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Southern• Downtown•4.6

It’s also a peanut free facility, and there were plenty of choices without tree nuts as well. Wish we lived close4 - this would be one of our go-tos for sure!More infoLa CondesaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Downtown•4.6

- RRobertNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoEvery month, my girlfriend and I have been going to some of the best restaurants in Austin. Although we've thoroughly enjoyed just about every one, Red Ash is the first where we were not let down by anything. Booked bar seating two months out and happened to get what we eventually agreed were the best seats in the house. Overlooking the kitchen, nestled between the wine cellar and the executive chef's final prep station. Being able to watch the kitchen staff work with no hassle, no loud noises, just a perfectly oiled machine from the pasta station to the grill to the wood fired oven, getting to see the prep of dishes similar to ours or great suggestions for our next visit. And the food, the squash blossoms were pleasantly crisp with a great pop of freshness from the herb ricotta and lemon. The prime steak bruschetta could've easily been a lovely meal all by itself. If what you order doesn't come with the bread with the garlic and cheese topping, you certainly need to order it on the side! The capelletti felt warm and homey, and should certainly inspire all the home cooks out there. The pollo alla diavolo had to be the most tender chicken I've ever had in my life, with again, the bread underneath to soak up all that jus. No skipping dessert, since everything else was top-notch, we got our waiter's recommendation for dessert, the hot chocolate gianduja cake, perfect. The light, slightly tangy gelato paired perfectly cutting through the rich soft chocolate cake with the perfect amount of peanut butter. It came together in one of the best desserts we've found. While sitting there after, we were already looking to book our next reservation. Not to mention the cost came in well below what we've spent elsewhere for far less enjoyable experiences. I mentioned the ease of the cooking staff, but the wait and bussing staff were equally as nice, calm and personable. I'd highly recommend Red Ash for an upcoming dining experience!More infoRed Ash ItaliaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.9
