- EEllenVIPWashington, D.C. Area •33 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoOur waiter talked INCESSANTLY. And then made multiple mistakes. It was a lovely evening. But make this service person STOP w the chatter. It was too much.More infoLouie Bossi Ristorante - Fort LauderdalePrice: Moderate• Italian• Colee Hammock•4.7
- SStephanieVIPSouth Carolina •42 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe are visiting friends in the area and remembered that we had a great meal at YOLO a few years ago, so we dined here again last night. Reservations strongly suggested, as this place gets very busy. We were seated right away, and server was at our table promptly. My Open Table profile notes a shellfish allergy, and our server was aware. I neglected to note our friends gluten allergy, but he asked specifically about the dish he ordered to make sure nothing was breaded. The server told him there was not. Since our appetizer options were limited due to both allergies, my husband ordered french fries as a starter. Apparently the server took offense to this and questioned my husband’s order with a fair amount of attitude. Typically nicer restaurants are very cautious when it comes to food allergies, but the server clearly didn’t take our friend seriously and he was served a dish that did in fact have breaded onion straws on top, which contain gluten. The food here is excellent. I wouldn’t want to take away from that. But our server was arrogant and rude, not to mention he completely disregarded a serious food allergy, and that’s 50% of the impression we were left with. Such an unfortunate thing in such a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. If I could review on the meal alone, I’d give 5 stars, but front of the house service is as important as back, and in this dining experience, we were left with a bad taste in our mouths.More infoYOLOPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.6
- MMaryChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful dining experience. I had the Scottish salmon and my partner had the cod. Both were delicious. We shared garlic mashed potatoes. Yummy! I had red sangria! The best sangria I have had in a long time. Since it was my birthday the gelato was a great way to end the meal. Keep it up. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.More infoBoatyardPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Harbordale•4.6
- DDAWNVIPFort Lauderdale •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur party of 10 went to celebrate 3 birthdays. We were looking forward to the brunch and chef recommendations menus. Everyone enjoyed their meals, including the donuts, mimosas, gnocchi, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and the sandwich and dessert on the chef’s menu. Deja our server was fabulous! Her personality was fun and delightful, she took care of our party with ease.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Dania Beach, FLPrice: Moderate• American• Dania Beach•4.6
- VValerieMontreal / Quebec •31 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 14, 2025Our waiter, Jake St John , made the evening extra special. He was extremely friendly and helpful. When we wanted to order a certain dish, he knew there was something in it which we couldn’t eat (allergy) The food was delicious, we ordered around 12 starter plates and one large plate which was plenty for a group of 8. There was nothing we didn’t like (the bao buns were our least favorite). The quality and plating were exceptional. The almond cake was one of the best cakes I’ve eaten. Will definitely return and recommend it to my friends. Considering the amount of food we ate and the quality of the food, the price per head was VERY reasonableMore infoCasa SenseiPrice: Moderate• Asian• Colee Hammock•4.6
