**Chimney park** is the best **restaurant** within an hour of Fort Collins. The chef clearly loves and is proud of his work, and he should be. The staff is so polite and helpful, and they know their food and wine extremely well. I recently visited two Michelin-rated **restaurants** that could learn a lot about fine dining from chef Jason Shaeffer.

We dine at the Hearth fairly often, usually several times a month. My husband likes their wings and the supreme pizza. I like the Maui Wowie wrap, salad, and occasionally their salmon dinner which is amazing. We really love the hard boiled eggs as appetizer. We went in late last night and it wasn't busy but didn't get our appetizer for a long while and had to inquire about it. Our waitress was busy, but not too busy to check on it, just seemed distracted perhaps. Service nonetheless was very good and she was very pleasant. Food is always good. Sometimes fries are overcooked, so we tend to stay away from them and get side salads instead which are healthier for us any how. Their ranch dressing and blue cheese dressing are both house made and are amazing. Staff is always friendly and the view of Windsor Lake is a plus. Watching them make pizzas is always entertaining as well. Definitely recommend.

The food here is usually consistently good. This time, the lettuce leaves for the chicken wraps was very rusty and not appealing. That is the reason for the 4 rating instead of 5, but it still tasted good.

This Tex-Mex **restaurant** is part of a local chain of different venues, all organized around a Mexican theme. This venue is like Chi-Chi's used to be. Of course, it's loud for some when it's crowded, but that's part of eating in places like this. The service was excellent; our server followed our lead and didn't rush us. The extensive menu was what you would expect from a **restaurant** like this, and the quality was better than its peers. The salsa used with the welcome tortilla chips was a bit spicy, surprisingly so for an item not so labeled. My partner had the tequila lime chicken, and I tried the carnitas chimichangas; both were tasty. Unfortunately, the fried ice cream wasn't as excellent as I would have liked, so I won't order it again.

We drive from Longmont/Mead area just to eat at Luna's. We love their margaritas and tacos. Our servers are always friendly and we appreciate that we can make reservations especially when we have a large group.
