The Cracker Trail was long and treacherous with heat, swamps and predators along the way, but these cowboys still ventured out every day to ensure the economy we enjoy today is thriving.     We have been there a few times for lunch and dinner. We were pleased with the service and food before but today was not good. Service was fine, but both my wife and I did not like out meal at all. She had chicken romesco and I had chicken and pasta alla vodka. She did not like hers and I did not like mine either. The chicken was not seared or roasted, it tasted like a frozen dinner reheated. The side salads were good and so were the cocktails. At the end, the bill was still $145. Today was not a good experience.

    First, we enjoyed speciality cocktails at the bar. Perfect! Then, we had a nice, quiet table in the dining room. Our appetizers were Oysters Rockefeller and Calamari. We have never had calamari that was so tender! For our entrees we ordered Scallops, Prime Rib, New York Strip and Tuscan Rockfish. Our favorites were scallops and Prime Rib. But most of all, our server, Jordan was so nice and attentive!! We had an amazing early Mother’s Day dinner!! Finally, a top level restaurant in Sebring.
