Matsu follows a new light in modern Japanese cooking while paying homage to centuries-old tradition.     Funky spot, great jazz music playing from upstairs bar, I think. Interesting selection of drinks and the bar food was tasty. Nice for a casual bite.

    Wow! Definitely recommend going if you want a culinary Chinese cuisine experience. Everything thing we ordered was exceptional. The flavor profile on each dish was unique and balanced creating a beautiful experience with each bite. Bird nest and shrimp robuchon were the perfect starters, the Jiaozi dumpling were Heaven in the mouth, then the brown butter fried chicken was crispy excellent and the Shanghai noodle! P.S. if you love chicken and there is 2 of you highly recommend getting 2 orders of the fried chicken because you won’t want to share :-) All the staff is super friendly. Definitely go for a special occasion or when you want a special meal.
