Restaurants near Island Creek Public Use Area

My 4th time there. Food and service were great, as before. This, and Osteria Georgi in Chapel Hill are, the best Italian restaurants in the area, in my opinion.

Best restaurant in the area, always a great experience...

I have been a devoted diner at Waraji since Masa opened the restaurant in 1997. This was my second visit since Masa retired. I was concerned that there might be a quality decline, but those fears were unfounded. We sampled three appetizers, Ika butter, shrimp & vegetable tempura and Gyoza, all of which were spot on before pigging out on nigiri and some fabulous specialty rolls. It was a pricey dinner, but the food and the service were worth it.

Juju is always a fantastic experience - the food is some of the best we've had in the area, service is impeccable, and we love sitting outside on the patio

Our meal was delicious-everyone at the table chose something different: the fabulous filet, wedge salad, the fish special, Cobb salad with grilled chicken and I had the lobster ravioli special. (Mine was the best!) We were served in a reasonable amount of time, and the birthday girl was even offered her choice of dessert, on the house! We had a perfect night celebrating our dear friend!
