Great place for special occasions since it is on the pricey side. The service and food were excellent. It’s a wonderful restaurant that pays attention to detail and a menu that has many dishes to choose from.

Our favorite sushi restaurant in the Bay Area—You don’t even have to ask if they have real crab because that’s all they have! They also have Hamachi cheeks, lobster, and O Toro. We also love the hamachi crudo appetizer. The staff are super friendly and efficient.

Such a hidden gem in the area. Amazing service, fresh selection of sushi shipped form Toyosu fish market. Highly recommend!

We went for a birthday with the family. The 2 teenagers had never been and they really enjoyed it. Every course was great, but the filet mignon and lobster tail were especially delicious!

Mokutanya is a great place to enjoy skewers and a nice date. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and everything was great! The food came out on time, but we were treated fantastically.

Wonderful food and attentive service! Great salads and fish special. Pasta dishes have always been excellent although the lasagna was a bit light on cheese. Have been there multiple times and always leave very satisfied. Outdoor seating is nice too.
