The menu offers classic dishes in a casual but sophisticated, retro-designed space that is both lively and comfortable, capturing the essence of a night out at your favorite neighborhood joint. Overall 8.8 food very good but bread couldn’t use less butter (very greasy) and the amount of Scallions/ onion they put on what seems 75% of the menu is way too much. service was subtlety sub par but the music level and ambiance was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers and all sushi rolls. We even tried the caramel chocolate mocktail and it was delicious. The sushi rolls were amazing and fresh. Just enough crunchy and creamy on both mixed with the perfect amount of spice. I would highly recommend anyone to visit. It is all plant-based, but our non-vegan friends loved it too!

We’ve been here multiple times and it is ALWAYS 5⭐️, however this visit was more like 10. Our 11 year old nephew was visiting for the week and he’s a bit of a foodie. He is also a Junior Pit Master competitor and winner, and has won grand champion for his pie and candy recipes via 4H. Not your average 11 year old by any means. When we explained to Nathan, who took care of us for the evening, that this was his first time experiencing sushi, he took it on like a mission to ensure Tanner had an above and beyond experience - and that he did. He said it was his favourite thing this trip besides mountain biking. He tried EVERYTHING! Eel was his fave and salmon roe was his least fave 😆. He wrote everything down that he ate and can’t wait to take his mom and dad to sushi now. Thank you Nathan and the entire Uchiko team. Making his night made ours.
