A Family Tradition For Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, side salad, choice of cabbage or cherry rhubarb, three pieces of fried chicken, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. For dessert: your choice of boysenberry pie or boysenberry sherbet. Many other dishes are also available including grilled chicken, salads, and a number of appetizers. As always the service was outstanding!! Made room on the patio, perfect spot to accommodate a guest in wheelchair & a large dog. Food was great & the .bruschetta is delicious !! Celebrating a birthday & they had lovely extras, dessert, pictures, all very thoughtful!

I am newly retired and have been going to places for dinner I have not been to in years. This was the best buffet at a decent time and enjoyed shopping afterwards with no fuss. I will definitely go back to Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner with my Mom.

Brunch selection was good. Service was great. Only suggestion is they should offer pricing options without the bottomless mimosas and for kids. $37.50 is a little pricey considering it’s your traditional breakfast with simple Mexican entrees.

If you've never been to Irrawaddy's you need to try it. I brought two other couples there for a special meal and it was fantastic. We ordered all of our food "family style" so everyone had an opportunity to taste the different dishes. Everything was delish! We started out with the Paratha Bread, the Tea Leaf Salad and then each person ordered a main dish (all of which were great). My only complaint is that they are in Stanton and it's a long drive from all of our cities (Orange, Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa) respectively, but worth the drive. Can't say enough good things about this place!
