Best food we’ve had in Edmonds in ages. Not overseasoned, reasonably sized portion. I had duck confit, my husband pork chops. Attentive serving staff considering it was packed out at 6pm and good atmosphere. A bit pricey with average $40 + per entree, but quality worth it. Will return.

We always enjoy our dinners at Clearwater. My guest had his usual traditional cut of prime rib, but I was looking forward to an appetizer and a cup of soup. I asked our server whether or not the appetizer of clams or scallops would be filling but our server suggested steak bites. When it arrived, I tasted one bite of steak and sauce but could not handle the amount of salt and spice in this dish. When our server saw that I had not touched anymore of the dish, she offered to replace it with something else at no charge! I am happy to say that the appetizer of clams and a cup of clam chowder was fantastic!

The Pink Door was hard to find. It’s on a small backstreet with no signage, just a pink door that opens to a narrow staircase. The entrance was crowded with people trying to get walk-in seating. Fortunately we had reservations and were taken to a great table overlooking the water. Service was excellent as was the food. The Pink Door should be high on your list of restaurants in Seattle, but book well in advance.

I've wanted to try Palisade for awhile and snagged a reservation without knowing it was going to be a stunning evening. Jordan was the best. Really great service and a fun attitude. He concurred that the Tasting Rain red blend would be nummy and my date ordered a Rusty Nail, that he proclaimed the best he's had in all of Seattle (and that's saying a lot). We had the steamed clams to start and they were delicious. My only complaint was we weren't nearly finished when our entree's arrived. Big no no for me. I had the Chilean sea bass with lobster risotto and it was amazing. My date had the sake black cod and he loved it. We ended dinner with molten chocolate cake for me and the carrot cake for him and they were both delicious. Stepped out to the deck for a chocolate martini to watch the sun set. Perfect ending.
