    We really enjoyed our dinner here. We had Omakase and enjoyed almost everything that we were given in the 7course meal. Anyhow, sushi kashiba restaurant was impressive and we plan to go back again soon. We have been to chef shiro’s other restaurant which is just called “shiros” and I use to be a regular there since I lived a few blocks away when I was in my younger years. :) I would have to say sushi kashiba is in the top 3 sushi restaurants in the Seattle area. And until we visit here a couple more times will update with another review. The waiter suggested a special reserve bottle of sake for our meal and we truly enjoyed it, it was called “Buhraku” which is a Yamahai Junmai sake. My wife and I are always trying fine bottles of sake and this one was quite impressive! Shiro himself was making rounds to welcome his dinner guests and we appreciated this very much. If you have high expectations for quality sushi than I would recommend this sushi restaurant. It’s an experience and one can appreciate shiro’s experience in preparing sushi all these years and the experience of the other chefs he has at his restaurant too.

    We went to Ben Paris for a date nite and were very pleased. We couldn’t decide between 2 wines we didn’t know and were graciously offers tastes of each. We started with 3 small plates. The Happy Hour shrimp cocktail was 5 large, well cooked shrimp, with a thick tomato based sauce that I would hove preferred having a little more horseradish. We then shared Shisito peppers with a tangy sauce that was perfect. We also had a burrata cheese with sliced tomato, toasted bread, and basil with a balsamic glasses drizzle that was fresh and flavorful. We would gladly repeat all three. Our main dish was halibut with brocolini, mushrooms and black rice. The fish was perfectly cooked and fresh, as were the vegetables. We finished with a brownie with chocolate ice cream. On the menu it was described as a skillet brownie which are often cooked to order. This was premade and had become slightly dry. The house made ice cream was smooth and creamy with wonderful flavor. Seating was limited but comfortable because of a large party reservation. Service was attentive, responsive, pleasantly informal and questions about menu items were well answered. The noise level was unpleasant after 6:00 but that is usual. The bill was as expected for a nice dinner downtown. We will definitely return.

    Amazing 🤩. The staff was so attentive from the hostess, host, waiter, maitr’de. Busters, food servers…everyone was so friendly and professional. Our waiter was excellent t and the food was the best!! The vegetables (Bok choy and string beans even were the best!!). The sea bass was amazing as well as the seafood Thai rice bowl and the vegetarian soup and fried shrimp. They were so thoughtful to remember a guests birthday and brought a special dessert. Amazing experience!!
