    Had a reservation, arrived on time was told we would have to wait another half hour to be seated when the restaurant was practically empty. Decided to sit at the bar and was able to eat and pay by the time the other parties were even seated. Used to really enjoy this place but it is not the same.

    Came up from Dallas for the Texas Michigan game. Giovanni’s was highly recommended everywhere we’ve been. It lived up to it. Excellent bolognese and lasagna. As good as we’ve had anywhere. So was the Caesar. Quality wine list and they don’t gauge you on the prices. We’d go back for sure. Hook ‘em Horns!

    Server (Evelynn) was excellent, as always! They recently changed the brand of their delicious mango tea and it now has a very odd “fake sweetener” taste. We drive half an hour to get here and look forward to a relaxing, quiet meal. This is a NOT a fast food play area! Why does management tolerate children jumping up and down on the seats, crawling under tables, and running around (holding silverware!) while screaming?? It would be best to ask that party of three to leave and risk upsetting them rather than allow them (for a VERY long time!) to annoy all the other diners!
