Given Happy Anniversary menus and a card signed by the staff, along with a complimentary glass of bubbly. Attentive and friendly staff. No pretense here! I can tell the staff is in sync and the restaurant is well managed as I worked in several restaurants in my youth. Good cocktails! My husband and I shared all plates. Spring fever salad is a must have. Shrimp skewers were good but not great. Walleye was very good. Round out your meal with the best non-traditional tiramisu from their menu. The menu changes regularly as the chef sources fresh ingredients from Eastern Market, so there’s always a new dish to try. Their menu is built around shared small plates, which we love—just something to keep in mind. I live in Los Angeles and always look forward to coming back to this restaurant whenever I’m in town visiting family.
