Excellent food… the dry aged strip steak was so delicious and enough for 2 if you order apps and veggies. Sautéed spinach, simple but so yummy. And lastly, try the apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. Ask for Jordan to be your server!!!

The Tavern is the nicest restaurant in State College. Great Food and Atmosphere!

First-time visitor. Cocktails were outstanding. The mixologist knows what he is doing, for sure. Food was very good and well-priced for State College. Will absolutely visit again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of and taste of the food. The special was a bargain and our waitress Christiine was outstanding. When we entered the lobby were unsure of where to go and had to pass the pool which had a strong chlorine smell. We were unsure whether we had made a good decision and were not disappointed in the restaurant. We gave it a thumbs up and would return.

The waitress was wonderful, she was polite, and helpful. The food is excellent! We will be back again.
