Wow! My husband and I totally enjoyed our experience in Zaytinya today. The food was sooooo good! While waiting for our order, we started with the flat bread (was served warm and heavenly!) with olive oil and pomegranate molasses dipping sauce- we can’t get enough of this combination. It was so good! Then the Baba ghanoush came followed by the chicken soup, squid Santorini and garides me anitho (sautéed shrimp). We finished with the Greek chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and cafe latte. Delicious and authentic!! The service was really exemplary - quick, efficient, friendly and warm. The ambiance is great - relax, simple but elegant. Conversation were free flowing and everybody seems to be enjoying their experience like us. Overall experience is definitely a 5!!

Even though we live in the DMV, we first became acquainted with Joe’s at the Las Vegas location. Enjoyed that experience so much that we flew back home and immediately made reservations for two weeks later at the DC location. While we all agree that the DC location is even better than Las Vegas as far as the overall experience, Las Vegas won over DC in regards to portion sizes with Las Vegas’ sizes being more adequate. Nonetheless, we are already looking to book another DC reservation in the next 2 months or so.
