Love the food at Cantoro's! It has become one of our favorite restaurants.

Great food. We had the shrimp cocktail (fine), boneless ribeye (excellent), NY strip (very good), mashed potatoes (perfection) and carrots (incredible). The cocktails were tasty, the decor was fun, service was fantastic. The manager came and checked on us several times. I will say it was a bit expensive, and they didn’t tell us ahead of time that gratuity was included, but overall was a great meal and experience. Would dine here again.

Best restaurant in Detroit. Simple. Everyone is accommodating, wine list is great, ingredients are great. Dishes portioned well.

We recently hosted my husband’s surprise retirement party at Famous Dave’s with a group of 25 people, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely wonderful. A huge shoutout to the manager, Tabitha, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. She worked closely with me to plan the event, ensuring that everything went smoothly and that we had everything we needed. Her attention to detail and dedication truly made the night special. Our servers were equally amazing—attentive, friendly, and always making sure our guests were taken care of. They handled our large group effortlessly, and everyone felt welcome and well-served. The food was delicious, and the value was incredible. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the barbecue and sides! Everything was served hot and fresh, and there was plenty to go around. Overall, the party was a huge success, and I am so grateful to the entire team at Famous Dave’s for making it a memorable and stress-free evening. I highly recommend them for any special event—you won’t be disappointed!

The food was fantastic. The restaurant was very quiet. I almost feel like there needs to be some background music. I would definitely come back!
