Never visited before. An amazing pub, ambience, service, cleanness, efficient staff with a smile. Food was amazing, quick and hot served with a smile.

The ambience at The Buck was good although very warm. I imagine it would be more inviting in the winter as it is very cosy. The standard of service was excellent, we felt very welcome and well cared for. The only complaint we had was the quality of the food. We had fish and chips - the batter on the fish was rather limp and under fried and the chips were very dry and not particularly hot. We would return and give it another go as the staff were lovely.

We were a table of three people and all agreed that Sandwiches, Scones and cupcake was delicious. However none of us ate the Crème brûlée as it was rather stodgy and cold. Would have been better if it was warm. Overall though we all had a lovely time and the service was excellent

An absolutely fabulous afternoon tea with a well balanced selection of savoury and sweet treats.
