All of our dining will be either 6.30 or 7.00pm starts, unfortunately we will not be able to offer any later tables.Our Adult only fine dining restaurant has been awarded two rosettes by the AA for the quality of our food. We aim to host the majority of our summer and early autumn dining, alfresco in our newly built under cover outside dining experience in the garden. Loved our experience. The service was outstanding. We went for my mums birthday. She was given a birthday card and a little cake with a candle. Food was out of this world. Second time going to assembly rooms for Afternoon tea. Will definitely be returning.

Everything about this restaurant is positive. The food is excellent with the new chefs menu a joy. The welcome from all staff is extremely friendly and the service first class.

We enjoyed our experience at the Red Lion. The staff were friendly & helpful & the food was delicious & value for money. The only negative thing was the service as it was very slow & we had to wait almost an hour & a half for our food. Nevertheless, we would be happy to eat there again.
