Restaurants near Days Inn Port Charlotte

My husband and I celebrated our 35th anniversary dinner at The Perfect Caper tonight and it was indeed absolutely perfect! We began with some very tasty black Manhattan cocktails, and Jeanne Roland’s red curry mussels and pomme frites, which was her winning dish against Bobby Flay. We will typically get some of her focassia bread to suck up some of that wonderful sauce that comes with the mussels. Then I had the crabby scallops over forbidden rice and my husband had the very unusual yet very tasty chicken Bolognese for dinner. We finished with gingerbread and gingerbread ice cream and caramel dessert. The whole evening was literally perfect from the little card on the table to wish us a happy anniversary to anyone on the staff who saw that wishing us a happy anniversary and taking such exceptional care of us—like I said it was perfect. Thank Zack for the exceptional service and Gabe who keeps the whole front of the house running smoothly.

Another great evening! Delicious wine, appetizers, and main course. Lots of fun and laughs with friends. Service was terrific and they engaged with us making it even better. Always a good choice when we dine at Cooper’s Hawk! See you again soon!

Our Server was great,, and our food was delicious.

We had a reservation and had to sit at the bar for a few minutes before our table would be ready. We had a glass of wine while waiting and chatted with Maryann, the hostess/bartender. She was so enjoyable to talk to we decided to sit at the bar and eat. The food was wonderful. Huge portions and very reasonable. Service was excellent. We have another reservation for this Tuesday taking another couple and we will request Maryann!

This is my second time this week here. I was to lunch and the other time to dinner. Both time wonderful service! Marina was our waitress for lunch she was happy, helpful and delightful. Delicious meals, variety on the menu both lunch and dinner. Beautiful view if the lake.
