    Rosines restaurant  is one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been going there for years. I’m a local. This is where the locals eat we know there’s good food. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Monterey or anyone that lives here. It’s wonderful food delicious  best restaurant In Monterey!!!

    We were seated promptly and Carlos was our waiter. Carlos provided a great service, he was friendly, helpful and made the whole meal very pleasant. We enjoyed the crab cakes, perfectly crispy outside and moist and full of chunks of real crabs. The tomato salad with burrata was good too. The pork chop was cooked well - medium - moist and had great seasoning. The least successful dish was the spot prawns, the prawns did not taste like they were fresh a bit soggy, you'd know fresh prawns when you bite into one - but the pasta and sauce that came with it had good seasoning. For dessert we got the bread pudding, I really enjoyed the passion fruit ice cream in contrast with the sweet sauce, if I were to tweak this dessert, I would switch out the condensed milk sauce with a lighter less sweet (dial down like 50% sweetness), then it would be a perfect dessert.
