Fantastic food from the shrimp cocktail and the beet salad to the Tomahawk steak for 2 (so tender) and then the basque cheesecake and lemon meringue pie (to go since we were stuffed!) great to see the restaurant busy on a Thursday night yet service was superb - they catered to our every whim :)

I am delighted to report that our visit was nothing short of extraordinary, far exceeding all expectations. From the moment we were seated, the staff provided impeccable service. The waiters (yes, plural!) were attentive and efficient, ensuring our orders were taken promptly. The food delivery was seamless, and each dish arrived with excellent presentation and an even more remarkable taste. It was clear that the team at The Royal is dedicated to creating a truly memorable dining experience. What made this visit even more impressive was the follow-through on a commitment made nearly two years ago. Following my prior negative experience, I had submitted a review, and the manager personally reached out, offering to cover our bill should I return. Despite the significant time lapse, when I inquired about the bill at the end of our recent meal, I was informed that it had indeed been taken care of, as promised. This act of genuine customer care, after such a long period, was truly astounding and speaks volumes about their dedication to customer satisfaction. My faith in exceptional dining experiences and outstanding service has been fully restored by The Royal. Kudos to the Chef and team for their culinary prowess and unwavering commitment to their patrons. I highly recommend The Royal to anyone seeking an unparalleled dining experience.

Shoeless Joes is our go to place to have Team meals and as well to sit and relax and enjoy the awesome patio. Staff is always friendly and courteous and service is outstanding.

Tomasso’s lives up to its reputation for excellence in all categories. Friends visiting me from USA had never been to Trenton or this area of Ontario. Tomasso’s for dinner was the right choice to demonstrate why I love my home town. Thank you Cindy and Tom for the ambiance, the great service and the excellent food.
