Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995. Special diet needs met upon request.

    Four of us were celebrating anniversaries and had an absolutely fabulous dinner! Service was excellent! Food was incredibly delicious! Ambiance sitting on the back patio on a beautiful evening was delightful! Specifically...the "Burrata Caprese" and She Crab Soup appetizers were excellent. All four of our main dishes (NY strip steak, rack of lamb, fettuccine and pork ribeye) were all superb. Save room for dessert--we thoroughly enjoyed the Peach-Blueberry crisp and Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. I highly recommend the Ivy Inn. It was even reasonably priced given the high quality of everything.

    Truly enjoyed this experience! Lovely service, beautiful space, unique and delicious food. I ordered the gnocchi duck confit and highly recommend this dish. A wonderful blend of flavors made to perfection. Complete with a glass of Rose and finished with creme brulee. Thank you, Chef!
