Wine Bar | Downtown Charleston,

"My husband and I planned to go to uncork before dinner for our 14th anniversary. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed there instead of going to dinner. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. We enjoyed tasting the different wines. The charcuterie and fromage was amazing. If you are there for dessert you have to try the Oreo Bomb. It was amazing. We will definitely be bringing our friends back."See more

American | Downtown Charleston,

"Overall, we had an excellent experience at Macintosh. Preparation, presentation, and flavors of our entrees (flounder and pork schnitzel) were imaginative and different-and of course enjoyable. Among so many restaurants in Charleston, it's hard to stand out but we found that to be the case here. We also shared the squash blossom starter; it was a combination of tastes and textures that brought together vegetable, fruit, meat, cheese that all balanced well together. Service was spot on with the right amount of attention, and knowledgeable descriptions of any dish we asked about. When one of our drinks turned out not to be quite what was expected, not only was it switched out for a fine replacement (recommended by our waitress), but bar staff came to our table to better understand what might be wrong and, when asked, to explain the mixture of ingredients in the drink. We would return and would recommend others to try Macintosh."See more
