The filet and ribeye were cooked to perfection. We would dine here again for a special occasion.

We 've been to Public several times for an early Happy Hour dinner and it never disappoints. The service is always great if you have an event to get to, as we did this time. I made a game-time switch from my normal lobster roll (which are excellent) or fried oysters (also excellent) and got the crab pasta. Nicely prepared but I hoped for a little more southwest heat plus the crab can get a little lost in a flavorful pasta dish like this. Very good but not a favorite. My wife's oyster po'boy was outstanding and I always love their house salad.

Delicious has always and excellent service. Had the gnocchi and it didn't disappoint!

Meal was unique but outstanding. Charlottesville Sour was great! Server was very engaging but not over the top. You could tell he enjoyed his work, very authentic.
