We were seated in a covered area but open back by the kitchen. Iffy at first but then our waiter, Fabio, made it all better with his fabulous accent and personality! Steak and lobster, lobster bisque, wedge salad. All was yummy! No room for dessert but the selections looked tempting! We would definitely go back there!

One of my favorite places in Newport! The service is always great. The food is always great and I always recommend to my friends and family. It can be pricey, but Newport is pricey, so I always expect that.

Ordered the Scotch Egg, Wellington and Lobster Ravioli. We both raved about each dish to varying amounts; we either loved them or we really loved them. Rich, complex and satisfying flavors. Janessa took the experience over the top, she was so friendly and provided us with information without overwhelming us. I would hire her anywhere. 10/10

We had a wonderful time celebrating my brother’s birthday. Upon being seated he received a birthday card, which we thought was awesome! So many places do not acknowledge occasions despite being indicated on the reservation, and La Vecina goes above and beyond in this aspect. We had 6ppl in a great corner table. Our server was friendly, but busy. While we didn’t always see her, the manager stopped in on more than one occasion to check in. We felt this helped tremendously with the service level. The chicken enchiladas were a star of the night, as was the guacamole. Highly recommend. Others enjoyed their carne asada and tacos, but the sweet potato taco could be skipped by many. To top off a great night, the manager took care of a tres leches dessert for us and it was such a sweet treat! We will look forward to returning!
