From the moment we walked into The Tavern Restaurant, we were swept into an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, setting the perfect tone for the evening outside. Scott, our waiter, was impeccable—attentive, kind, and genuinely knowledgeable. Every detail of our service was thoughtful and seamless. Daniel, our sommelier, was equally impressive. His wine and vermouth recommendations elevated our meal beautifully and added a refined touch to each course. Thanks Zach, for the bubbles!! Adrien and Bjorn enchanted us with beautiful stories of the history of Mattei’s including the original architecture, buildings, and horseshoes on the wall. We hung on every word as we were taken back in time. The dinner itself was absolutely exquisite. My husband enjoyed the Smash Burger and fresh cut fries, while I enjoyed the Half Chicken. Each started off with a beautiful Kale Salad. Every bite was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It’s clear the kitchen takes immense pride in both quality and creativity. We were treated like royalty the entire night, and it made for a truly special occasion. We finished the evening with a beautiful walk around the grounds and admired the history from which we just learned about. Thank you to the entire team at The Tavern for a night we won’t soon forget. We love Bar Le Cote! The food is always over the top delicious! Great wine and the service was fantastic! We celebrated our anniversary and they were all so nice and welcoming. Bar Le Cote is a gem in Los Olivos!
