A Hidden Gem by the Harbor – Our New Favorite Spot We’ve found our new favorite local treasure, and it’s tucked away right by the harbor with the kind of view that makes you want to linger long after dessert. This lovely restaurant perfectly blends a relaxed coastal charm with seriously delicious food. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re seated inside by the windows or out on the patio, the view of the harbor steals the show—boats bobbing on the water and golden-hour sunsets that feel like a movie scene. The menu is thoughtful and creative, full of fresh, flavorful dishes that showcase local ingredients. Everything we tried—from the seafood starters (sardines are a must) to the mains and desserts—was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every plate. Our favorites were the steak and halibut! The drinks were amazing as well! We enjoyed The Gardiner and The Gold Rush a lot. But what really sets this place apart is the experience: the friendly service (kudos to the wait stuff - our waiter was such a professional, as well as all the friendly J1 students who work there), the cozy ambiance and of course that unforgettable view. It was a very special birthday dinner to remember! Thank you Flora! We will be back!

We’ve never had a bad experience at Vieste. The food quality and consistency is excellent. Will and Tony make you feel like you’re having a meal in their home. Hooked (seafood) and Vieste are quite a combo.
