- LLeslieSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoYour waiter, Irving was excellent. He attended our needs promptly and efficiently. He was a pleasure to have as our waiter. The restaurant did a great job of making sure our water glasses were never empty. With the excessive heat we didn’t have to worry about staying hydrated. Whenever I visit Palm Springs, Tropicale is one of my have yo go places to eat.More infoThe TropicalePrice: Expensive• Californian• Palm Springs•4.7

We were a lot , about 36 people; 7 families from LA, that went on a vacation in the Palm Desert area. My daughter chose that restaurant, and made a reservation for 20 people (that how we started this trip). When more people decided to join us, they made their own reservations, for various different hours (whatever was available online). On Friday, my daughter called the restaurant, and explained SEAN, the manager , that we are a big group, with different hours of reservations, but would like to dine together. I will not exaggerate if I will say that this nice and kind manager (SEAN) did EVERYTHING he could to accommodate all of us together at 8pm, and moreover, put all of us (36 people!) together in a private room. He greeted us upon arrival, and during the whole evening checked on us, to make sure everything is o.k. Thank to him, and his wonderful crew, we had a beautiful and unforgettable evening! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding ! The vibe and the atmosphere is so happy and vibrant. The chefs are doing anything to make your experience here unique and happy. We all enjoyed it SO much! Excellent food, with a great entertainment. If you are visiting the Palm Desert area, do not miss this gorgeous restaurant. To my opinion (and basically everyone in our group), it is a must visit. We couldn't have a better Friday evening anywhere else. Thank you SEAN, you are such a treasure to this restaurant.More infoMikado at Desert Springs JW MarriottPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Palm Desert•4.7
- GGlennExclusive •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe dined here the first time for a birthday experience. We had an amazing time and everything was superb. Our server was on point, the meal was excellent. The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked. Next time we would skip the crab stuffed shrimp for the lobster instead but we have no complaints. We’ll be back next time we are in Palm Springs area.More infoEddie V's - Palm DesertPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Palm Desert•4.9
- TTinavipNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoBet Cecil was everything I hoped it would be. The vibes were EXCELLENT, the service great, the cocktails were just the right amount of boozy, and the food was 10/10. Do yourself a favor — don’t skip the bread with the sage & date butter, it was a revelation! The oysters, steak frites, pork chop and lemon tart were also exceptional. All around wonderful time and we will absolutely be back!More infoBar CecilPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Palm Springs•4.8
- RRiccardoYosemite / Mammoth Lakes •2 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoBooked last minute, had the chance to come earlier and get drinks sitting at a separate lounge area. Overall it was an unexpected experience considering the area we were visiting and the average restaurants level. Service was totally fine considering the place was fully booked. We appreciated the very attentive service of our waiter who offered free dessert due to a minor mistake in service timing. Music was great! The lamb with chimichurri salsa was delicious as well as the brussel sprouts. Chairs could be a little more comfortable just by adding a pillow on the bottom, but of course it’s a little addition to the already great set up. Definitely we will come back if we will visit again. Good job guys!More infoKitchen in the DesertPrice: Expensive• Caribbean• Twentynine Palms•4.3
