I always appreciate how consistently delicious the food is, and the friendliness of the staff. First time sitting in the outdoor space, and it was so much fun! Our 6:15 reservation worked out perfectly to make an 8:00 show at The Jefferson. I continue to highly recommend Public Fish and Oyster!!!More infoPublic Fish & OysterPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Charlottesville•4.8

I was very impressed with their knowledge of the drink and dinner menu. It is a little pricey but with every cent! You won’t regret a date night at black cow!More infoBlack Cow ChophousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Charlottesville•4.8
- DMDavidMSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWent there with friends to celebrate our 20th anniversary. From beginning to end, it was an amazing dining experience. It started with getting the menu with a graphic of 20th Anniversary on the menu. We were pleasantly surprised and shocked! Then our waiter brought complimentary Rose Prosecco for the four of us! We couldn't believe it. We were all smiles and impressed with this kind of service. We ordered She Crab soup (fabulous), mixed green salad (v good), and the mustard-herb Lamb (fantastic). Our friends ordered the Wild Mushroom Tartlet (it was glorious and I don't really care for mushroom!), and swordfish (v. good). Our dessert was the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake (it was to die for). Our waiter (Kyle) allowed us to taste the wine we were wondering about before ordering. Kyle was very attentive but still gave us space to enjoy the meal and company. All four of us said we have not had a dining experience like this in a very long time (and we've been to a few nice restaurants in our life).More infoThe Ivy Inn RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Charlottesville•4.9
- EElijahVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoBy far, one of my favorite restaurants. The staff are fantastic, the ambiance is lovely, and the food is truly excellent. The prices are fair, the portion sizes are well-balanced, the presentation is elegant, and of course, the flavors are all that you would hope of a sushi restaurant and more. Make this your #1 stop at the Downtown Mall!More infoTenPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Charlottesville•4.9
