Not over the top in quality of food, but very good! The mashed potatoes w/ lobster were just ok, but the NY bone in steak was excellent! Cooked to a perfect melt in your mouth medium on very warm plates. We also did a seafood tower for 2ppl which was displayed nicely and tasted very fresh. Service was fast, friendly. Ambiance was cozy and upscale, noise level was low (Wednesday 7:45p dinner not as busy). Overall, great food + service, very clean restaurant and will be back!

I've been to Hawkeye and Huckleberry several times, and every visit has been consistently excellent. Most recently, we brought a friend visiting from out of state, and it was the perfect spot to showcase the best of our local dining scene. The atmosphere is busy and lively, with a great energy that makes the place feel vibrant and welcoming. Even when it's bustling, it's still comfortable and easy to enjoy good conversation. The food, as always, was outstanding—creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our friend was seriously impressed, and we were reminded again why we keep coming back. The service is top-notch: friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed. Every interaction feels genuine and warm. Hawkeye and Huckleberry never misses. Whether you're entertaining guests or just treating yourself to a great meal, it’s a place you can count on.

The setting is in a classic old lodge, and the restaurant also has a huge deck that fronts Lake Creek. The menu is not long, but has a good variety of items. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the wedge potatoes were also exemplary. I didn’t get a chance to try my husband’s pork chop, but he ate everything on the plate, so take that as a recommendation. I enjoyed their whiskey sour cocktail and my husband sampled the wine list. It wasn’t super loud, as we were the only patrons to begin with: more folks came in later.

Food was delicious, the outdoor patio is a great spot to enjoy a meal on a sunny day!

Another great meal and great experience. The fig tartine was spectacular! It was all very good! We appreciated the food and beverage director stopping by to see how our meal was, great customer service!! We really enjoy dining at the Lodge!
