Restaurants near Beaver Island Marine Museum

As an early Mother’s Day gift, we took family to The Weathervane. We were seated at a nice table with a view of the channel and the fireplace. The food was as excellent as the view. However, our server brought one member of our party the wrong drink, and he did not correct his mistake for quite some time. We had to flag him down. He had to replace a dirty bread plate too. The biggest issue was that our sever and the host spent a lot of time chatting with a couple who seemed to have recently moved to the area. The restaurant was not busy. In fact, diners were only seated at a few tables. Yet, our table was neglected. Our server was nice and funny when he visited our table. Yet, his lackluster overall service was disappointing.

We went to celebrate my birthday and restaurant week. The restaurant week special was delicious and our server Phillip was delightful. Always a wonderful evening . 

We celebrated our 39th anniversary at Chandler’s and we couldn’t think of a better restaurant to have an amazing meal with incredible atmosphere.

The food was tasty, presented well, music was fabulous but didn’t appreciate 2 of the wait staff talking right by our table about other wait staff . We didn’t feel this was appropriate nor did we need to hear their conversation about someone not doing their job. Lovely view of the water , comfortable seating

Food was delicious and Chelsea was an amazing server. Thanks for the great birthday celebration.
