I had the 4 for ¿32?. I chose brisket, pulled pork, half a chicken, and salmon. The brisket, pulled pork, and chicken were amazing. The salmon was good, but I didn’t realize it was served cold. The ¿collard? Greens has some spicy kick to them, but I can’t handle much heat, and they were good. The pit beans were good as well. The Texas Twinkies (bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños) were fantastic, but an order is only 3 of them. The cornbread is delicious, and the honey butter that comes with the cornbread is amazing. Last, the apple crisp dessert was very good, although between two orders, one had a bit more crunch to the crisp, while the other had very little crunch. Overall fantastic experience.

Nice cozy restaurant. One big thing at 2 9f the restaurants the pop and water taste like chlorine. Our meat selections were great choices prime rib and rib eye. We both enjoyed potatoes and and we enjoyed the chocolate cake. Our side salads lettuce we could have passed on. Service great, bread before meal was tough to chew.c

Overall enjoyed our time. The value is there (this is Iowa, after all) and the quality was OK. Flavors felt a bit dumbed down (but, again, this is Iowa.) The TV above the bar was kinda distracting from the booth we were seated in. My expectations were met and I will be back.

I ordered the nachos with chicken. Toppings were sparse and the chicken was pretty bland. The beer was good, I loved the surly tap take over.
