Here, in the heart of downtown St. Paul, you’ll find an upscale, contemporary twist on casual dining. In celebration of my son’s birthday, I was excited to return to an old favorite. We were not disappointed. Great service by Eric…top notch. My old fashioned #9 was very very good. Walleye cakes were beautifully presented but a tad dry and didn’t scratch the walleye itch I had. We bypassed the steaks and went the famous pot pie, pork chop, and Wellington meatloaf. All three entrees were the “best ever” for each food group. But the Wellington Meatloaf stood out as simply a transformation culinary experience. I just felt like a better human being for having cherished each bite. Wonderful. It’s not cheap…but when you feel the presence of God in food, it’s worth it.
