Restaurants near Balcony House

This is hands down one of Durango's best dining experiences. The professionalism of the staff is excellent. The craft cocktails made with local fruit like Palisade peaches are absolutely delightful. But the showstopper is the food. You feel like you are dining on a work of art. The combination of flavors along with the creativity with regard to the presentation is unmatched. Not only are you awestruck by what comes out to your table, it's almost impossible not to look around at the other plates that are being delivered and other patrons asking the Expos and servers what the name of that dish is. I highly recommend East by Southwest whether it be for a special occasion, or their happy hour, or enjoying a staycation by enjoying something a little bit exotic. The only recommendation I have is that you should read their menu when you make your reservation because there are so many different choices if you don't have a little bit of an idea going in it might take you a long time to order.

Good old style Italian food, friendly and fun place to eat

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful decor, excellent service and food. Highly recommend it for fine dining!

When there is a real chef preparing the dishes it really shows up in flavor and quality.
