Restaurants near Balboa Bay Resort

First post-season playoff game Dodgers v. Padres so it was a little noisy in the bar and we were seated indoors as it was foggy and breezy outside. Water came in quickly, server asked about drinks soon after and we were treated to a great evening from then on. Surprised with the fried deviled eggs appetizer (really good) and our individual meals were very tasty and plated well. Dessert choice of peach cobbler,Ii expected a bit more than the small bit in a ramekin, but the ice cream made it special. All in all a really good experience.

Farm to fork freshness is evident. I had the fillet salad and it tasted as good as described in the menu and by the waiter - excellent. Very courteous and customer oriented service - they seem to "care.". The noise is "moderate" becasue it is outdoor and casual dining. Reservations are a must....and for good reason. The Farmhouse is an outstanding dining experience.

Always excellent food and service at Nobu. Can’t wait to visit again. Best dishes include yellowtail jalapeño, spicy tuna, crispy rice, toro nigiri and the miso black cod!

Amazing dinner! Celebrated our 25th anniversary and it started with staff greeting us with a warm welcome. At the table we were presented with a handwritten message from the general manager which made my wife’s day. The appetizers were delicious and the steak was perfectly prepared on super hot plates that were just beautifully served. This will be a place to come back for more future celebrations.

Balboa Bay club always a beautiful place to visit. Seems like everything is overpriced these days so I’m not gonna tell you it was economical but I will tell my wife and mother-in-law absolutely loved it. We had a great time we’ve done pelican Hill. We’ve done a ton of really nice places and it ranks with the top of the top definitely recommend it
