Restaurants near Apartment New York 3

This is an obviously popular Upper East Side gem of a restaurant that we stumbled on largely by accident after spending the morning at The Met and making our way back to our hotel in midtown. The food, particularly the carpaccio and the ravioli were outstanding. And it was easy to find wines by the glass to go with our meal. We were particularly taken with the family style ambience that treated a couple of strangers from California, like us, as if we were regulars or members of the family, which we don’t often find in NYC. The service was efficient without hovering, and the overall atmosphere created a memorable dining experience, which we’ll be returning to in the future and will be recommending to friends and family visiting NYC. Highly recommended.

La Grand Boucherie was very close to our hotel and had great reviews so had to give it a try! It was delicious! The Beef Bourguignon was amazing! My company had the Filet Mignon, French Onion Soup and Steak Tartare. Everything was delicious, and there were no complaints! I had a non-alcoholic cocktail which was also surprisingly delicious! The atmosphere was also excellent, especially near Christmas time. We were in a rush to get to a show, but I wish we had time to stay for dessert. We would definitely go back again! The price for quality matched.

Outstanding service. Ordered 2015 Moet. My glass was constantly freezing cold and constantly getting filled with me being in full conversation my glass was being re filled. Outstanding. Got the cod , was butter

Excellent choice great food waiter was great overall 9/10

Staff was accommodating and attentive. Food was delicious as well as the drinks. Will definitely return and perhaps stay at the hotel next time!
