- JjeffSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOk, one of the best waterfront spots in So Cal. Halibut based fish and chips was prepared perfectly! My wife’s swordfish sandwich was sooo good. Ideal place for romantic lunch or a business get together. Also, an ideal place to get together with besties. Other food - I did not have the Cubano sandwich but I heard two different patrons boasting about it being the best they had. Interesting as one patron spoke about living in Miami for 40 years. Whether you’re a pro restaurant evaluator or very much an amateur, I expect you will find much to recommend this elegant space.More infoLarsen at Hotel LagunaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Laguna Beach•4.4
- BBrianvipSan Francisco Bay Area •25 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI love both this restaurant and its sister, Opah, in Aliso Viejo. I have been dining at these restaurants for years. Our server Ryan did a great job and the rest of the staff was friendly and attentive. We had all small plates and for the most part they were delicious. These included the bacon wrapped dates, truffle fries, Parker House rolls and chocolate bread pudding. The only quibble I have is with the muscles. I've had them at both restaurants many times and loved them. These were served very fresh and hot and seasoned beautifully. The only problem was there weren't many in the bowl and 3 of the shells were empty, which made the helping miniscule. I suggest the restaurant be careful in the future when serving these to avoid this problem. Additionally, our cappuccinos were served lukewarm, but Ryan was quick to fix this for us and the replacement round was perfect.More info230 Forest AvenuePrice: Moderate• Californian• Laguna Beach•4.8
