For Jeff Ruby, this is the steakhouse that started it all. In 1981, The Precinct was born in the former Cincinnati Police Patrol House Number 6. This turn-of-the-century, Romanesque-style structure would hold what is now the longest, continuously running fine dining restaurant in the city.Recently named one of America's Top 10 Steakhouses by USA Today and Gayot.com, The Precinct is frequently recognized as having Cincinnati’s best steaks, seafood, and service. This consistent, high level of quality and overall guest experience over 4 decades has endeared Precinct to celebrities, business people, families, and loyal diners alike. Mama’s was beautiful inside! My friends and I went for two birthday celebrations on the same night. We were given special treats with candles and a nice card! My only complaint was that the main dish was small. You’ll definitely need to fill up on appetizers and their bread service. Other than that, a great place!

Holiday lunch was outstanding. Restaurant is beautiful, service is excellent and food was delicious. Cranberry Sparkle drink, shrimp cocktail and Freddie salad with steak (so tender and full of flavor) were all perfect selections. Tasted Mac n cheese and carrot cake from other guest’s choices and have to say they were both A plus… A big thank you to Jeff Ruby for having holiday lunches each year. Look forward to celebrating the season each year with them. Jorge provided excellent service.

We love The Precinet for its ambiance , service and food quality. Tonight however was even more special due to our server Kelly. I just have to say that she made our evening. On to the food , the pork belly app was delicious and a huge portion , as was the crab bisque and mozzarella app. The filet was cooked perfectly and very tender . It was a perfect evening.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a treat, the lower entrance, red drapes, candles and fantastic service began our date. Each course got better and each person who helped was just as nice as the first. This place is a true gem and an absolute pleasure for all your senses…just go and you will. It be disappointed.

We had a delicious December lunch at Pepp & Dolores! The host and our waiter (Mark) were very welcoming and gracious. We enjoyed The Dunk bread and dip, first. Then we shared the Gem salad. My husband ordered the Sunday Sauce entree and I chose the Butternut Squash Ravioli. The food and service were excellent! It is a little pricey, but a nice occasional treat.
