- JJaniceWashington, D.C. Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was a great meal for our last dinner in Charlottesville. We had two misses during the visit and Cafe Frank was exactly what we needed. The halibut was perfectly cooked, the steak frites were delicious and our server, Dillon, was fantastic. We will definitely return on a future visit.More infoCafe FrankPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Charlottesville•4.7
- DDanielWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe enjoyed it completely. How the C&O has maintained such a classic dining experience for decades is a mystery. It still feels like a speak-easy with such a warm and intimate arrival. The service is refined but not intrusive. The staff was remarkably knowledgeable on the menu and wine pairings. The dinner was superb and hit the mark. This is still a place C’ville considers an insider’s treasure. Go soon and go often. You won’t find a better experience or value. A place to tell stories and enjoy the journey. Cheers! DanMore infoC&OPrice: Very Expensive• American• Charlottesville•4.9

It is one of the very best fine dining restaurants in Charlottesville. The changing menu always seems to feature a good range of classic dishes that are very well prepared.More infoHamiltons' At First & MainPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Charlottesville•4.8
- DDavidVirginia •5 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 9, 2025My wife and I had a dinner on a Saturday night - we showed up an hour early because our night was a little more fluid than expected. We were able to get a seat at the bar (which we love), and it wasn't an issue, even though they were quite busy. We started with Edamame, each had a cocktail and a glass of wine - the ginger gimlet was delicious. I had two rolls and my wife had 1, and each was amazing. The Spicy toro and dragon roll have never disappointed - and the spicy toro has become one of my favorites. It was the night of Tony Bennett being honored at the UVA men's Basketball game, and 30 minutes after we arrived, a handful of former players, including two current NBA players came in to enjoy Ten, a sign that the restaurant is remembered well by those who have been in Cville, and quality enough for men that can afford the best a town has to offer!More infoTenPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Charlottesville•4.9
