Breaded cutlets of veal, served with golden Yukon whipped potato, and vegetable of the day.
Best prime rib anywhere! The owner is fantastic, as are all the staff.
We had a great birthday dinner.
Food and service were excellent.
My wife had the roasted beet salad as an appetizer and the Blue Corn Flour Coated Rainbow trout for dinner. I had the King Arthur Cut of the Prime Rib Of Beef. The house specialty. We split a reasonably priced bottle of wine. Everything was excellent.
Last visit was too noisy, but this one was perfect when we were seated in their private dining area. The food was great, service excellent. They were even about to phone me when I came back within 5 minutes of leaving after finding my scarf I'd left behind.
Lancelot’s was perfect, starting with the quiet table they gave us in response to my request. The service was perfect. The food was outstanding. The restaurant is lovely. I wish that it were a little less pricey, but this is Vail.
Great prime rib dinner in Vail Village. Nice dining experience with good view and live music during dinner. Easy to find location.
Wow! The prime rib was one of the best I’ve ever had. Ambiance was just ok, way too plain in the dining room area. Only negative was the hostess seemed so flustered and we waited about 15 minutes just to be greeted for our reservation. Food made up for it though!
Great food and service! Prime rib and filets were extraordinary!
we have been to Lancelot before and we were not disappointed by our food or service. Our waitress was attentive. The dining and bar areas were full when we were eating. Nice size portions and the prime rib was quite flavorful. Alas, we did not have room for dessert so we passed on the strudel. I would recommend this establish to family and friends.
Food was extremely overrated. The prime rib was average and needed pepper and mushrooms, which took came well after the meal was served, to have any flavor.
The best place in Vail for Prime Rib. Had a friend that was only a fish eater and he had a great Salmon.
Cafeteria quality food. Nice people. Would not come back.
Outstanding service from the female manager to our waitress. After a very disappointing dinner at Ludwig, we were hoping for a great dinner and were not disappointed. The service was exceptional and the food was outstanding! Our best overall experience in Vail! Highly recommend.
Awesome prime rib and drinks
My wife and I kept it simple… We each had a Caesar salad followed by the prime rib and baked potato. Everything was delicious, and it was nice to have a meal that wasn’t overly complicated. Highly recommended!
Been eating here for years. Has become my favorite place to eat in Vail. Same great staff has been there a long time. A good value for an expensive town
Lancelot has consistently great food. Even if you choose not to have the Prime Rib, a mistake if you do not, the other menu selections are exceptional also.
Veal was amazing
Prime rib was pretty good. Would have been nice to have a vegetable side other than potato included. Someone ordered mashed potatoes and said it was excellent. Creamy horse radish could be a lot more spicy. Service was average, but not disappointing. Ordered an appetizer, it was tiny and unremarkable, not worth the price. I'd honestly try a few more restaurants in the Vail area before giving them another chance.
Great Prime Rib! This is our "GO TO" place in Vail for nice piece of beef.
Best prime rib!
Wonderful waitress and wait staff. The food was amazing and so is the location! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Vail.
Great service Food has been better in other ocassions. Overall pretty good
Absolutely fantastic experience every time. The prime rib is cooked perfectly, the service is incredible. Love that I always walk away with leftovers.
excellent waitress - very personable & efficient. We will return
We (2) had a very enjoyable prime rib dinner and were happy to see the same waiter Ken as on previous visits. Consistently well prepared dishes. A great value especially when considering Lancelot's prime location.
The food and service was great! I ordered prime rib (their specialty) with a side of mushrooms. The prime rib was cooked perfectly to my request (medium rare) and their was an ample portion of mushrooms. I was looking forward to trying the creme brulee for dessert but was full from just the main course.
The service was also excellent. Our server was very friendly and stopped by our table often during our meal to make sure we had everything we needed.
I would definitely recommend Lancelot!
Hands down, THE best Prime Rib I have ever had. Anywhere.
Really enjoyed our waiter, Ken. Prime Rib was amazing. All their food portions are plentiful! Highly recommend with nice ambiance near glass doors in back overlooking stream and park area.
It is always a pleasure to dine at Lancelot’s. The service is as excellent as is the food! Our favorite restaurant in Vail!
Last night in Vail and decided to try what several locals said was a good spot. Even though we dined really early, it was a fun experience and the food was as touted: absolutely perfect prime rib in a warm and friendly setting. Enjoyed this a lot, after many misses in Vail at “fancier” restaurants. We will be back.
Excellent! Waitress was great and quick but attentative. Food was hot and delicious. Rolls were also good.
Well established, well run place with great food and a relaxed atmosphere...also off season. ;-)
Always a good experience with Petya our favorite server. Thank you see you next summer
Nice people, food, and service. A very pleasant expericnce. It is a bit noisy when very busy, but the crowd thins out by about 8:30 or so
Restaurant was quite busy- but Jen took care of us and made sure our order (party of 2) was hustled thru and we didn't get stuck behind a party of 10 or 12. Crab legs were excellent! Fabulous!
The Prime Rib and Mud Pie were on fleek. Service was baller. Overall it was a great experience!
The mussels were small and lacked flavor despite being in a tasty broth. Prime rib was good but not the best I’ve ever had. Wine selection by the glass needs improvement.
Ken is an excellent server and does a great job of taking care of his guests. Very professional.
