succulently seasoned grilled shrimp with lime aioli and sweet chili sauce
Sauted cutlets of veal with a mushroom sherry sauce, and roasted sweet potatoes
Breaded cutlets of veal, served with golden Yukon whipped potato, and vegetable of the day.
Great Crab Legs and Prime Rib. Fresh and crisp salads. Great wine list. Located on the Gore Creek makes for a wonderful setting for outdoor dining during the summer season. The above are just what we had this time, but everything we recommend.
Wonderful evening from beginning to end. We were celebrating my birthday and decided to try a new place. Social distancing and masks were high priority and we were not disappointed. Our server Milena, was outstanding! She was very personable, friendly and attentive to our needs. The Calamari appetizer was great and the Shrimp appetizer was plentiful and excellent! Our entrees were also both wonderful! The Veal Ambrosia is named perfectly!! The evening was completed with a delicious Streudel and ice cream with a candle dessert to commemorate my birthday! Looking forward to our next visit!
The escargot was GREAT! The prime rib was GREATER!! Great service too. Will come back again next time we are in Vail
They always treat us so well and the food is consistently excellent!
The rib rib was very good and the open air dining was nice.
Had reservations had to wait for an outside table was able to sit at the bar. The bartender was great!
Wonderful ambiance and great service! The food was excellent.
Best prime rib in Colorado. Great service and view of the river.
Always a pleasure to have Lancelot open and able to dine there. Truly enjoy having their offering of prime rib; however, it wasn’t the same standard as normal. When I asked, apparently they have changed the source of vendor. My wife wife’s meal was as great as normal. Great service!
Good food, better prices than at Sweet Basil and more food choices on the menu. Great desserts. Jen was a friendly server.
Escargot was amazing! Mussels were pretty good. Patio is gorgeous!
We wanted to try Lancelot because it’s one of the oldest Inns in Vail. The prime rib is their signature dish, but it was ok. Their off-menu wiener schnitzel is actually really good. It was worth trying, but we won’t be back.
Wonderful service friendly staff excellent food
Such and enjoyable evening. We sat outside with the Gore Creek just yards away.
Our server (GG) was superb. We split the prime rib which was prepared just the way we like it. We had cheesecake for dessert which was yummy. From wine and drinks to dessert it was all delectable.
Beautiful setting and service! Excellent food!
Fabulous as always; love this place!
Amazing prime rib!
Best prime rib anywhere! The owner is fantastic, as are all the staff.
We had a great birthday dinner.
Food and service were excellent.
My wife had the roasted beet salad as an appetizer and the Blue Corn Flour Coated Rainbow trout for dinner. I had the King Arthur Cut of the Prime Rib Of Beef. The house specialty. We split a reasonably priced bottle of wine. Everything was excellent.
Last visit was too noisy, but this one was perfect when we were seated in their private dining area. The food was great, service excellent. They were even about to phone me when I came back within 5 minutes of leaving after finding my scarf I'd left behind.
Lancelot’s was perfect, starting with the quiet table they gave us in response to my request. The service was perfect. The food was outstanding. The restaurant is lovely. I wish that it were a little less pricey, but this is Vail.
Great prime rib dinner in Vail Village. Nice dining experience with good view and live music during dinner. Easy to find location.
Wow! The prime rib was one of the best I’ve ever had. Ambiance was just ok, way too plain in the dining room area. Only negative was the hostess seemed so flustered and we waited about 15 minutes just to be greeted for our reservation. Food made up for it though!
Great food and service! Prime rib and filets were extraordinary!
we have been to Lancelot before and we were not disappointed by our food or service. Our waitress was attentive. The dining and bar areas were full when we were eating. Nice size portions and the prime rib was quite flavorful. Alas, we did not have room for dessert so we passed on the strudel. I would recommend this establish to family and friends.
Food was extremely overrated. The prime rib was average and needed pepper and mushrooms, which took came well after the meal was served, to have any flavor.
The best place in Vail for Prime Rib. Had a friend that was only a fish eater and he had a great Salmon.
Cafeteria quality food. Nice people. Would not come back.
Outstanding service from the female manager to our waitress. After a very disappointing dinner at Ludwig, we were hoping for a great dinner and were not disappointed. The service was exceptional and the food was outstanding! Our best overall experience in Vail! Highly recommend.
Awesome prime rib and drinks
My wife and I kept it simple… We each had a Caesar salad followed by the prime rib and baked potato. Everything was delicious, and it was nice to have a meal that wasn’t overly complicated. Highly recommended!
Been eating here for years. Has become my favorite place to eat in Vail. Same great staff has been there a long time. A good value for an expensive town
Lancelot has consistently great food. Even if you choose not to have the Prime Rib, a mistake if you do not, the other menu selections are exceptional also.
Veal was amazing
Prime rib was pretty good. Would have been nice to have a vegetable side other than potato included. Someone ordered mashed potatoes and said it was excellent. Creamy horse radish could be a lot more spicy. Service was average, but not disappointing. Ordered an appetizer, it was tiny and unremarkable, not worth the price. I'd honestly try a few more restaurants in the Vail area before giving them another chance.
Great Prime Rib! This is our "GO TO" place in Vail for nice piece of beef.
Best prime rib!
Wonderful waitress and wait staff. The food was amazing and so is the location! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Vail.
