The outdoor seating is great. The food is good. I ordered crab cakes and quite some time later, the waitress came to tell me they were out of them. It would have been nice to know sooner. Other than that...I would recommend going there.
She crab soup was great. Everyone loved their meal
Arrived and welcomed with a smile from the hostess. Our server Niko boys very hospitable, courteous, and unintrusive. I ordered the snow crab bucket which was enormous with hush puppies, corn on the cob, and boiled potatoes. I have a pretty good appetite and I could not finish it all.
My date had stuffed lobster tail and she says it was wonderful. We were very fortunate the sun was shining and the sunset over the river just made it for an awesome evening.
Brought out of town guests for dinner. The food was outstanding and my sister-in-law said the Alaskan crab cakes were the best she's ever had.
Great location with a beautiful view, but disappointing food and very inattentive wait staff. We ended up taking out check to the hostess to pay as we had an appointment to get to and could not get anyone's attention.
Some portions were small for the price.
Rice was gummy. If you what to go out and have drinks and a bite. The view from the deck is awesome.
terrific staff and food was delicious , plenty of easy parking
Huge jumbo shrimp on the appetizer menu half pound was plenty for a “diet” entree and were delicious. Also rest of the group got crab legs and they said they were wonderful too.
Very good food and excellent service.
The place is awesome but my crab was so salty:(
So glad I choose this restaurant to celebrate mothers day. I cannot wait to go back.
Enjoyed the Mother’s Day specials and the long stem rose was a very nice touch.
We were there for Mothers Day with a group that was seated outside. Everything was nice but our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed. It took a very long time to place our order. Maybe she was new. There didn’t seem to be anyone helping her out. She was very sweet though and we were very patient. We felt that the portions were a bit small for the price especially since there is no bread or salads. But everything tasted very good though.
Went for Mother's Day, which was our third visit to the restaurant. Sat outside, weather only so/so. When asked (along with others) to have weather shutters put down because of cold and rain, was told manager wouldn't allow it. Food obviously got cold quickly. Husband had salmon, with mashed potatoes and asparagus. 5 asparagus spears, cold mashed potatoes, small piece of salmon. Asked for butter for asparagus was told it was cooked with butter so didn't need any. Other 2 in party had steak salad - steak cooked as requested. Will go again, but definitely not on a holiday. Was not impressed with service.
Great waterfront dining, reasonable prices, and good service. We'll be back!
As always, we had all different sushi rolls and fried green tomatoes! Amazing. Sat outside on the water! Love this place!
Jake was our wonderful server!
we have been there many times mostly with out of town guests. the service is good and the views great. the food is acceptable for a tourist attraction. salads are ur best bet for quality and value for ur money.
Our meal was good but as a vegetarian I had very limited choices! I’d appreciate some no meat choices. Sometimes we don’t come to your restaurant because there are very limited no meat choices. On this occasion I had a baked potato and broccoli.....
It was great to get together with friends for dinner, but we asked the waitress to take a picture but be careful of reflection. However, when I got my camera back, the glare was awful.
Nice menu with gr outdoor seating. Food quality a decent but found service somewhat slow. Ordered a bottle of wine off this menu and they did not have it. Think they should carry what they have on the menu!
We love eating at Laishley's. I love their oysters.
Service was good, but too slow. And noise was at a high level outside making it difficult to hear everyone. Food was EXCELLENT! We would return but consider sitting inside.
Laishley has become our venue for a yearly get together with friends whom we've known for almost 50 years! Great food, relaxed atmosphere, great outdoor dining on the porch friendly service and at a very reasonable price. Always great Grouper!
Always tops for us ! Can bring your dog to the bar. Staff and food the best !
The dinner menu is a lot better than the lunch menu.
We enjoyed dinner much more than lunch, better selections, but overall it is a great place to dine. J....................
Great blackened Grouper!!! Good service by "Billy"
We were greeted soon after we arrived and taken to our table . Our drinks arrived shorty thereafter.
The the waitress disappeared. 20 minutes later she returned and asked if we would like anything else. We placed our dinner order and waited, and waited.
When we were finally served our meal ,the presentation was good, and our entre’s were very well prepared. The dinner rolls however did t arrive util we had asked about them for the third time. And our water glasses were never refilled.
Good food, nice atmosphere, need to focus more on adequate service.
Crab cakes were awful. Burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Fried oysters were greasy.
Great water and marina views-Adult beverages and good food made an evening with family Memorable.. location was perfect as this was halfway between Bradenton and Captiva.
Our only VERY negative comment is the floor under our booth was disgusting. There were hunks of food & other food stuff. We told the hostess about it & she said she would take care of it. We were first timers there & was very disappointed with your cleanliness.
Will we go back?..not sure!
Good food, great service and a beautiful view!
I had the stuffed “jumbo” shrimp. Taste was ok, but shrimp were not jumbo.
My wife had the grouper and was very pleased.
Enjoyable lunch with family including 2 small children.
King Crab Legs were rubbery and overcooked. Lobster tails were under cooked. Over priced for bad quality food. The quality of the food has gotten worst in the last year. Will not return.
Always a great dining pick, fresh seafood, great salads. I like the light breading in their seafood.
Laishley’s never disappoints! We come to Florida every spring and we anxiously start our vacation with dinner at Laishleys and we end our vacation there. Beautiful view, delicious food, great service, what more could you want! Would highly recommend.
John was awesome!!! Every server should have his attitude, warmth and professionalism! Be sure to ask for John!
The fried green tomatoes and coconut shrimp were very good. The view of course was exceptional.
We wanted to find a nice scenic spot for lunch. Saw Laishley online and decided to try it. It was wonderful. Food was great. Wonderful waiter and view was terrific.
I was told to check this restaurant out before leaving Port Charlotte area and Punta Gorda. We are glad we did and have been telling others about this wonderful place to eat. Meyung Family
It was so beautiful and romantic. Beautiful sunset
