Delightful wait staff. Attentive, but not disruptive. Food was outstanding. My friend and I both had the chicken croquettes in a dill cream sauce. Absolutely my favorite thing on the menu. The lamb was my favorite and is still great, but once I tried the croquettes I was hooked. My friend's husband had the vegetarian med pasta with olives, artichokes, tomatoes, etc. He loved it. My husband had the pork cutlets in a mushroom sauce and loved those. All in all a fabulous meal. This is a regular choice for us because there are so many great choices. The appetizers are superb, but we opted for salads this visit. Also great. Try it, love it, tell your friends.
Love this little tucked away spot in Cherry Creek North! Great ambiance, food & libations! Bottomless mimosas pair so well with the amazing menu.
Reminds me of being on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Love this place! Great staff too. Thank you!
Very good food, they were busy, so service left a bit to be desired, but it looked like they were doing the best they could.
Quaint setting with amazing food and drinks. Definitely will go again!
La Merise always has great food! Whether you are joining them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything is delicious. The ambiance of the space is fantastic as well, it really feels like you are in a little European bistro. Cannot say enough good things about this spot!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. Always such a pleasant dining experience and Saturday was no exception! Delicious food, excellent service, excellent COVID compliance, beautiful interior and patio area.
Always the same, warm, welcoming, wonderful food, and great service!
Service was very slow and when we finally got our food you could tell buy the by the look of the sauce that the plates had been sitting for quite awhile under a heat lamp
Lovely brunch, great Eggs Benedict Crepe and Beef Stroganoff Crepe. Cant wait to come again and try other great dishes on the menu! Thank you for being open and serving while following the covid rules.
Three friends came here for a Saturday brunch birthday celebration. Beautiful, quiet environment with original Arts & Crafts decor at a cozy corner table in the back room. The birthday celebrant was 88 and hard of hearing, but we had no trouble hearing each other. All tables were properly socially-distanced and everyone wore masks except while eating.
Exceptional service and everyone loved their crepe and mussels entrees. The pate appetizer was amazing as was the chocolate mousse. So many choices on the menu that you know you'll be back again and again.
Great food and attentive service. Perfect for a date night. In this current Covid environment, I felt safe eating here and thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
The food was very good. Only bad thing was a hair found in the butter they gave us for the bread.
This is honestly, the best restaurant in Denver. GO!
Restaurant is always so good. So many fine houses, and nice well priced house wines with generous pours. My second meal here this week.
Great dinner. Still one of Denver’s best
The food was perfect, the wine paired well, and we had a lovely evening as usual. La Merise never disappoints. Thank you for staying true to providing delectable food and an enjoyable experience.
Great service, fun, no rush. Great food and drinks. The pours and servings are generous, had a great time.
Such a beautiful lil quaint dining experience. Took my bride for brunch after a weekend at the Brown. She absolutely loved it. Good food, great service by our waiter Eric. Top notch for sure.
We will be back. Will also invite friends. One of our new fav spots.
Great food and finally a resto that is authentically French. Love the escargot!
Amazing experience, great diversity in food options, and the bottomless mimosas were flowing! 10/10 recommend!
My wife and I love Le Merise! Their food and service have always been excellent. We have a tradition of making Boeuf Bourguignon during Christmas, but we much prefer Le Merise's recipe, and go there as often as we can. We've been concerned about their survival during Covid, and have ordered to-go, and more recently celebrated Valentine's at the restaurant. Highly recommended!
Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Restaurant was cozy and intimate. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary and it was seriously the perfect way to celebrate.
Excellent, the best steak au poivre I've ever had!!
We eat at La Merise frequently. The food is always good as is the service.
The meal was excellent as always. This restaurant has been our favorite for years.
Great food, great atmosphere despite restrictions still in place. Highly recommend.
Staff can be friendlier and welcoming.
Our server is attentive.
Went for brunch on Sat. Very intimate setting. Got the beef borginione crepe and the obligatory escargot. Food was fantastic. Will definitely be returning on my next trip to Cherry Creek.
The food was fantastic and very fairly priced. We each got crepes that were cooked perfectly. The escargot was excellent. The prices for champagne were incredibly fair. The only thing that could use some help is the ambiance. The decor was fine, but it was almost too quiet in there. The music was set very low so you felt like you had to whisper. Still, We will be back for sure!
Our favorite restaurant in Denver!
Always great food, nice wine selections and very good service. The duck special was very well prepared. We’ll be back again.
Very relaxing and comfortable. Nice food selections and service.
I love going here and this was our "everything we missed for a year" dinner. It was so nice to be back. The food was outstanding and the service great as it always has been.
Once again we had a wonderful meal for a birthday celebration.
Outstanding!!!
The ambiance is lovely, wait staff friendly and consistently checking on us. Salads could be a little bigger, felt like about 4 small bites in all ad both the Salad Maison and Beet Salads. The food was delish! Had the Beef Bourguignon, it was our favorite with a creamy mound of mashed potatoes, could always have a bit more sauce. Also had the steak frits--good, a personal thought is it was like a baseball of meat-prefer a flatter cut of meat which is traditional. The Pork Medallions were cooked to perfection, could use a bit more seasoning in sauce of what i got a hint of. Potato gratin wowza. Dont skip dessert-we had the crepe suzette and 3 forks and if we'd have had more time we'd have ordered another!
Was amazing! I recommend the steak frites and French and onion soup. Their mussels in the white wine cream sauce was amazing as well
My daughter and I went in for lunch. We had a salmon and goat cheese appetizer that was delicious. We also had pink martinis. They were beautiful and delicious. I had a seafood crepe, and my daughter had a vegetarian crape. The portions were huge. No skimping here. The restaurant is quaint and does look like a French bistro. It was very comfortable. We enjoyed our lunch very much. We will be back.
Overall, it was a great experience! Great place for a date night! (:
I had excellent oysters and then Osso Bucco which was the special of the day. Too bad it isn’t always on the menu. It’s my favorite and it was seriously delicious.
It’s a charming little place with a friendly staff and generous pours of wine. I’m looking forward to trying more of there food. I will be back.
Despite pandemic challenges the restaurant continues on in fine form, service and food both very good and the whole dining experience is happily predictable (in the best use of the word).
