Excellent. This is one of our favorite places.
Wonderful place for a date night! Service was fantastic and food was excellent!
We chose this place for a date night in Denver. It was a Tuesday so not very busy. The food was great and the service was top notch.
Very nice place with consistently good food to sit and relax and enjoy.
Go there frequently, great experiences for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Great for everyday dining in a French Bistro way.
My wife and I found the food to be excellent. Our waiter had a friendly, charming demeanor, and everything we ordered was served promptly, with a small wait between each service. The only thing we found odd was that the waiters were also bussing tables while taking orders and serving food. The atmosphere inside was pleasant, and had a diverse mix of families, date night, and general dining patrons.
La Merise never fails. Great location, outstanding service delicious and authentic food.
If you like crepes then this is the place for you. There were other choices on the menu but the majority of the choices were for savory crepes (as a meal) and desert crepes. Everything was delicious but I would have preferred more meal non-crepe based choices. The service was excellent!
Food was bad; normally it’s good but this time it was poor.
Excellent brunch. Great service
One of the worst nights ever. My appetizer was a complete disappointment! Escargot overly seasoned with parsley.
I ordered the lamb chop medium rare they were grey to barely pink. The waitress tried but they didn’t charge us for our main course and we left. Very disappointing. Especially now when it so hard .to get a reservation on a Saturday night.
Service was amazing
waiter was awesome
Great group dinner, we went with family. Great food, great service, yum!
Fantastic service, excellent food, we would go back.
Our 1st visit. Very accommodating front-desk staff. Lovely table inside. Charming place. Music could have been a lot better (it wasn't French). Fabulous food--our group of 4 enjoyed oysters, escargot, French onion soup and salad; entrees were bison ribs, lamb, risotto and salmon. Good warm sourdough bread, and also good wine at decent prices. We did not have dessert. The weak link was the waiter. He was OK, but didn't keep us well informed, and he turned noticeably surly for some reason at the end of the evening. Also, altho' it was nice to NOT be rushed, our dinner took 2 hrs., which was about 30 minutes too long. Street parking was available after 20 minutes of driving around, a strong negative. The good news is that parking meters don't charge after 7 p.m.
Always consistently good in all respects. Great portions on both food and drink. Very happy to have La Merise so close to home.
Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. The menu was not extensive but it did have a variety of options such that most people would certainly be able to find something they like. It could benefit from a few more vegetarian options. The wine list was longer than my attention span. The quality of the food was excellent and the portion size was just right. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to a friend.
This was our third time in and we were so disappointed the service was terrible compared to three months ago. We were rushed and they didn’t even bother to show us a desert menu. It will be a while before we return.
Fantastic Food. Will go back for sure!
Dinner was lovely! We dined with friends on a Sunday in the very traditionally French atmosphere of La Merise. We had a variety of starters -- the mussels, fois gras, house salad and pate -- all were absolutely delicious! As I have a gluten allergy, our server brought out some lovely gluten free bread to accompany our starters. For entrees, we had the double lamb chops and the Tuna Nicoise, both excellent! An added delight was our bottle of Sancerre which was 1/2 price -- all wines 1/2 price on Sunday! A perfect night. Really looking forward to going back!
Lovely dinner on the patio. The mussels are outstanding! The Hunters Filet was delicious. And, we enjoyed a great bottle of wine, 1/2 off on Sunday!
I loved loved loved it the first time so I brought my Swiss husband and foodie children. We sat and waited for over an hour for our food. My son in law said they were the best mussels he ever had. We will be back. so many other things we saw on the menu we’re excited to try. It was just a bad day for service, unfortunately.
Wonderful menu, updated French
Beautiful and quiet outdoor space. A little noisier inside but equally charming.
Good food though it did take 45 minutes to get a salad and a crêpe. We told the server, but nothing was taken off the check.
What a pleasant and wonderful experience to dine here. We so enjoyed it. The only issue is a dog barking and they should have made the customer leave with the dog.
Delicious food with a quaint and charming atmosphere!
I have been going to La Merise since it was first opened. I have found the quality of the food, the service, the atmosphere to be consistently very high. I have not been disappointed at all and I have recommended it to quite a few friends who came away very well pleased.
Great .. got last min reservations Felt like Paris !!
Service was terrific, food as good as it gets! Love this restaurant
I was visiting from California and La Merise was recommended as a great place for brunch. I was meeting cousins for the first time and I wanted everything to be nice.
It got very busy, but we didn’t feel rushed. We all had a very nice time. The food was delicious!
We realize times like these require patience. The service was very slow. The kitchen must have been backed up. My husband had crab asparagus bisque that was just ok. It was puréed asparagus with crab sprinkled on top. His veal chop was dried out. I had the steak frites. The steak was cooked perfectly but I had a hard time cutting and chewing it. This is the 1st time we were ever disappointed in our meal at Le Merise.
wonderful escargot, excellent trout. A lovely meal and we will definitely return
Our server was great but we waited two hours for our food. Ruined the entire experience.
Luke was our waiter and so friendly and great waiter, as was everyone else. The food was incredible and it felt like we were in France!! Loved the outdoor area! So beautiful!
Very, Very expensive!!! $93.00 for lunch for two1 very good service. Next time I will go for a bargain meal at Frasca!!
